Social Media Coordinator

Paid Position (determined by experience)

Sunday AM and Wednesday PM services

Work with Pastor and Ministry Teams on creating an engaging, encouraging and entertaining online presence via Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Work with creative team on promoting media and creating ads for events.

Work with pastors and families to highlight each ministries purpose, community and life.

Build online community via groups, commenting, and sharing content with members.

Lead online presence and communication during live streams

Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required

Adobe, Canva, and other photo / video tools experience preferred, but not required

IC Department of Justice Representative

Immigrant Connection at One Church is accredited through the Department of Justice to offer church-based, low-cost immigration legal services in the Triad and the surrounding area for individuals seeking assistance with issues related to immigration, such as family-based petitions, permanent residency, naturalization, employment authorization renewals and more.

Before receiving DOJ Accreditation

    Screen calls, set up and confirm client appointments, assist with mail and filing; perform administrative and clerical duties, as needed.

    Shadow and support attorneys and DOJ representative on cases to learn and understand immigration processes.

 

After receiving DOJ Accreditation

    Conduct client-centered intakes and legal consultations with prospective clients and other group legal clinics as required.

    Direct legal representation and case preparation for immigrants on affirmative cases before USCIS and AAO. Cases may include: Asylum; Humanitarian Visas (U-Visa, T-Visa, and VAWA); Family Petitions; Adjustment of Status; Consular Processing; DACA; and Naturalization.

    Compile and gather documents to prepare applications, petitions, and forms for clients.

    Stay informed regarding changes and updates in applicable law, rules, procedures, policies, and practices relating to the functions assigned.

    Maintains accurate, complete, and record keeping of confidential case files.

    May perform other similar or related duties, which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent within the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.

Administrative Assistant

Position Overview

To perform clerical and administrative tasks, under the general day-to-day supervision of the Pastor, that will support the overall function and activities of the church. The Administrative Assistant will provide adequate support and administration for all ministries is essential. His/her primary function is to oversee all activities of the main church office.

Job Responsibilities (as follows, but not limited to):

  • Support for Congregation and Guests – The Church Administrative Assistant will

  • greet all visitors, members, and service technicians as they enter the building and will assist them as needed during office hours.

  • Answer phone calls and help communicate needs to pastoral team

  • Check e-mail regularly during the day and respond, redirect, or flag/print for action as appropriate.

  • Build, Send, and Create Emails to the community via MailChimp

  • Maintenance of Church Records – Utilize church management software to maintain all membership records including entering weekly contribution accurately.

  • Manage and keep an up-to-date master calendar of events for all church activities through One Church Software

  • Generate reports when required by Lead Pastor.

  • Assist with Church Assimilation by connecting with first-time guests

  • Maintain records of baptisms, dedications, weddings, membership, and visitor attendance.

  • Additional responsibilities and duties as directed by Lead Pastor.
